I Tackle a Woman’s Issue!

You wore THAT necklace? Totally clashes with the baby, yo. Fashion fail.

Earlier today I was goofing around with my blogger friend Erin Margolin about writing a post called “Breastfeeding in Public – A Dude’s Perspective.” If you’re not familiar, this is a hot button topic where women bloggers and readers are fired up on both sides. Apparently it’s a huge deal. READ MORE

I’m a Cry-Baby!

Dr. Morris, if you fart on my head, I will totally beat you silly! Oh, and that reminds me - I should probably work on the anger I have towards women.

I cried in therapy today. That is very rare for me.

If you’re not in therapy I suspect you actually think there’s a lot of crying that happens. And maybe for some people that’s true. For some people that are total pussies! (Am I right, guys?! High five!!) For me, what I’ve noticed is that it’s a place to tell the truth – the hard truths. I’ve cried maybe four times total. READ MORE

The Thoughts I Had During My Ride To Work

This guy is trying too hard. I look way less cool. Plus, I don't ride a girl's bike.

I’m without phone for a few days. My usb port on the phone died and then the phone followed suit.  I have another phone coming but won’t be here until Wednesday.  I’m off the grid!  (if the grid just meant cellular) – so if you want to Skype, get dressed up in your Sunday best, a tight sweater if you’re a woman, and find me! I Just Started Reading Blogs Yesterday – A Confession

I typed in "reading blogs" into the search of my image provider and this was the first result. I guess this is what reading blogs is all about. Horses and sand and shit.

Okay, this may sound strange but – I don’t read blogs.

I never did, actually.

I could not name one blogger when I started.  It never occurred to me to see what else was out there.  As my own website started picking up steam last fall I attended BlogWorld LA.  There I met many bloggers and had a fantastic time. READ MORE

Pets Die

dfasdf

My girlfriend’s cat is dying.

The vet has given her three months.  They found a bunch of tumors in Muchie’s abdomen and think that this is a terminal situation.  She also has had diabetes for years.  When Jessica visited me for three weeks this summer she drove up from Atlanta with both her cat and dog.  She couldn’t leave the cat by herself because sometimes she doesn’t drink enough water and needs fluids.  Plus, you have to test her blood sugar and all of that. None of You Have Gone Nuts

My friend Mary C (not an alcoholic, I just like calling people in that format so that others  think they’re alcoholics) asked me this question today.

Have any of your readers become weird and obsessive?

I laughed because my self-esteem is not that high.  The thought that somebody would be so fascinated by me that they decided to cross boundaries is absurd.  I mean, I suppose it could happen.  But it hasn’t.  And I’m guessing probably won’t. READ MORE

Larry The Cable Guy Follows Me

I was in the bathroom using my phone as an escape from time with my own thoughts, and I had a thought.  Do any famous people follow me?

There are only two types of famous people that follow you on Twitter.  Famous people that follow everyone that follows them (which is rare), and famous people that actually follow you for some weird reason. READ MORE

Photo Lab Stupidity

15 years old - not terrible

I’ve previously written about my time as a video and photo thief when I worked at Kroger in college.  This morning a fraternity brother, Jimmy, was going through a stack of old photos and found an Advantix package I had developed.

If you remembered Advantix the negatives always stayed in the canister, and you were just given it back after the development.  It also had kind of a cool case when you picked it up.  The big thing about Advantix was that you could do three sizes of photos.  Ultimately it failed after a few years and that media went the way of the disc film.
