Rachel and Delfin Argue (About You) – Money and Relationships

Rachel and Delfin Argue (About You)

What’s Up With Guys and the Money Thing?

Rachel Thompson

From a woman’s perspective, it’s not that difficult (is anything with men that difficult, really?): men are born to be providers. Whether they embrace that role or not, our society thrusts it upon them from a very young age. Even if they eschew materials things, it’s still a point of pride to be able to provide them. READ MORE

How Ribs Are Saving My Neighborhood

astwrtetwert

I live in a neighborhood of Chicago called Uptown.  We’re about a mile north of Wrigley Field.  The good news is that I’m close to the lake and have a beautiful condo.  When I moved here seven years ago I was able to double my square footage than had I moved to Lincoln Park.  While Lincoln Park is a ten on the beauty and fun scale, Uptown is a three. Biggest Day In Blog’s History

Please go kill yourself.

Wow.  Just wow.

Yesterday.

Not only did I get the most number of comments on a single day, but also the most number of visits to my site.  I’m talking about thousands.  Somehow all you foolios promoting your blogs drove an insane amount of traffic to my blog.  Hopefully you got a few visits yourself. READ MORE

Promote Your Blog on My Blog RIGHT NOW!

Not a Real Pimp

So many of you are bloggers, and if you’re like me, you know how difficult it is to have readers find you.  I probably spend an hour a day writing and another hour a day marketing my blog.

I’d like to give you an opportunity to get to know each other.  It’s a thank you from me for your dedicated readership. READ MORE

I Just Woke Up Out of a Deep Sleep…

I get up at least once in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I feel like that's got to be a disaster in the dark with a tent. Yes?

…to write this post for you.

As you may know I have written every day this year so far.  I laid down (lie, lied, lay, laid? – nobody knows for sure) to just rest for a few minutes at around 9pm.  Two hours later I woke up with a mild annoyance that I had forgot to do something.  So here I am.  Appreciate the dedication!  Or don’t. What Your Friends Owe You

Bushwick Bill is awesome.

“You know what you absolutely HAVE to see?”

I have a friend Suzanne and we’re pretty close pals.  She’s a big time hip-hop fan.  I know next to nothing about the genre except that I was a little freaked out when I saw the video of Tupac at Coachella.  Oh, and I thought the little guy from Geto Boys was awesome. READ MORE
