I’m Playing Live Tonight In YOUR City! (if your city is Chicago)

Tonight (Friday) the band I’m in, TheNumbers, are playing at El’s Kitchen in Lincoln Park.  This is a unique show, as we are playing two one-hour sets.  That’s a lot of us.

As I know I have at least four Chicago readers, I would love to meet you all.  For some reason I get a lot of people in Canada, but I’m not going up there.  True your side of Niagra is cooler, but we have the statue of Nikola Tesla.  Plus, you wear stripey shirts.

If you’re here in town, come on down.  I’ll take a picture, kiss your cheek (men included), and let you buy me an O’Doul’s.  Plus, there’s no cover.

And, if no-one shows up, I’ll do what I normally do – stare at the far wall while playing just above everyone’s head.  It’s weird to be on stage looking directly in the eye of a woman.  Even weirder, a man.  It spooks them out.  So I just stare at the wall.

I promise, we’re quite good.
