If you’re not familiar with BlogHer it’s the largest female blogging conference in the country. Over five thousand birds (I love to call women “birds”) made their way to NYC for the three-day event. Aside from over a hundred speakers, we had the President do an address, Martha Stewart, Katie Couric, and Soledad O’Brien. It was kind of a big deal blogging weekend.

I Just Started Reading Blogs Yesterday – A Confession
I typed in "reading blogs" into the search of my image provider and this was the first result. I guess this is what reading blogs is all about. Horses and sand and shit.
Okay, this may sound strange but – I don’t read blogs.
I never did, actually.
I could not name one blogger when I started. It never occurred to me to see what else was out there. As my own website started picking up steam last fall I attended BlogWorld LA. There I met many bloggers and had a fantastic time.
I Have Never Watched A Weatherman

It’s estimated that today we’re supposed to receive two to four inches of snow here in Chicago. Just two days ago it was 51 degrees. Been a great January so far.
Yesterday the big news was that it was supposed to be six to eight inches. I’m pretty sure that weathermen always overestimate so that their viewers will feel relieved when it’s much milder. Here’s a reenactment.
