First Two Magazine Articles Submitted!

I’m excited to call myself not only a blogger, chronic funnymaker, semi-professional Filipino Slapfighter, and drinker of Fresca.  Now I can add “contributing editor” to that list.

Tonight I cranked out 1000 words for two articles for Urban Gentleman Magazine.  I wrote about three spring activities that combine sports and social.  No, I’m not doing the big reveal until the issue hits the newsstand.  Oh yeah, you’re going to have to wait until next month to learn about sports!

Then I interviewed Michael Stervinou, a French abstract impressionist, who is insanely talented.  His stuff has even been  exhibited  in the Louvre.

Michael Stervinou
Amazing.

So, I’m pretty beat.  Plus, I just found out that I totally missed the second half The Walking Dead.  I have like five episodes to catch up on.  I’m guessing there’s some great zombie business going on.

Goodnight.

I’m pretty much a moron when it comes to art. I know virtually nothing about it, and particularly don’t understand abstracts. It looks like a maniacal carnival to me. Clowns, candy, rainbows and glitter. All tossed in a blender.

I don’t understand abstracts either, but I do feel emotion within that seems to be evoked.  That’s pretty cool.

That’s awesome! Congrats on your two articles and taking your steps towards becoming a “legitimate” writer (even though I personally believe that bloggers are perfectly legitimately writers, it seems like putting “I have a blog!” on a resume is kind of deal-breaker).

Be sure to post links if the articles are online!

At BlogWorld we were told that we are actually not bloggers but publishers!  That sounds way cooler.
