Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the amp domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. Notice: Function amp_has_paired_endpoint was called incorrectly. Function cannot be called before services are registered. The service ID "paired_routing" is not recognized and cannot be retrieved. Notice: Function amp_is_available was called incorrectly. `amp_is_available()` (or `amp_is_request()`, formerly `is_amp_endpoint()`) was called too early and so it will not work properly. WordPress is not currently doing any hook. Calling this function before the `wp` action means it will not have access to `WP_Query` and the queried object to determine if it is an AMP response, thus neither the `amp_skip_post()` filter nor the AMP enabled toggle will be considered. The function was called too early (before the plugins_loaded action) to determine the plugin source. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. Comments on: Passing Out at 8pm is Awesome https://thoughtsfromparis.com/thoughts/passing-out-at-8pm-is-awesome/ Humor blogger D.J. Paris writes about the most interesting subject in the world - himself. It's worth a look if you're cool. And you are! It’s pretty rare but if I’m exhausted and ask for an hour of silence they totally make it happen. Granted, I pretty much let them drool in front of the tv for that hour, but they can be super cute, play on their own and come in and ask if I’m ok or need anything- like 75 times. But it’s sweet nonetheless- at least that’s what I tell myself after the 12th knock on the door. But the next I’m sick I’m going to consider staying in a hotel for a few days so I can pretend to be you- sick with peace and quiet. Nice idea. thepursuitofnormal.blogspot.com

Being cared for by a eight year old and a four year old will get you out of bed better or dead.

Don’t get me wrong – having kids is always a bad idea 😛 but, if you have a good spouse, they will care for you up and down until you scream at them to leave you alone. Would I drag him to my non-refundable french cooking class? Hells yes. But if it was his turn to do the laundry (btw, we do our own laundry. If I’m sick on the day I need to do it, he’ll do it for me) then I’ll do it. Cuz I’m a nice gal like that. Having someone to take care of you when you’re sick is da bomb. After all, what if it’s serious? What if you have explosive  diarrhea  and you’re out of Imodium?! (like this if a horrible image popped into your head! lol)

Because even when you have the second parent to take care of said child. He KNOWS. The kid knows you are sick and need to rest and makes it his mission to make sure this CAN NOT happen. So he will bring you Good Night Gorilla for the millionth time just so you have to struggle to make up the extra words and stop him from ripping out the pages (which will then cause a freak out because OMG the book is ripped) and will climb on the bed to give you a hug, which you think is sweet until he starts climbing on you and pulling your hair because OMG MAMA I NEED YOU UP NOW!!!! (Same thing happens if Dad is sick) And when all else fails he will sit on the floor by the bed and whine / cry until you feel like such a terrible parent for daring to fall ill that you suck it up and play with the kid. The moral of this story is that daycare is magic and I am not above sticking the kid in school so that I can sleep… After all I am going to be up all night.
