Notice: Function amp_is_available was called incorrectly. `amp_is_available()` (or `amp_is_request()`, formerly `is_amp_endpoint()`) was called too early and so it will not work properly. WordPress is not currently doing any hook. Calling this function before the `wp` action means it will not have access to `WP_Query` and the queried object to determine if it is an AMP response, thus neither the `amp_skip_post()` filter nor the AMP enabled toggle will be considered. I believe in the power of words, not necessarily that the universe will give me whatever I believe it will. Although nothing comes just by saying it over and over again, ( I don’t believe in luck or coincidences). I’m a planner so whatever I want my life to be like, for instance if I wanted a new car, I say it, believe it and keep thinking about it. I certainly don’t expect a car to fall from the sky, but in whatever way the car does appear, I keep believing that it will. It’s just better to be positive than negative. But you’re right: nothing comes to us without hard work. Some people sit around and wait for things to appear instead of getting up and doing something. I really don’t believe I can get what I desire in 48 hours just by willing it, but I will try it. Let us know what happens to you. Hope it’s good news 🙂

I do believe in the power of manifestation 🙂

I’m with Barbara: I pray for God’s blessing and then I work my tail off. Definitely do a Part II on this post: did “the Universe” meet your expectation? If you are hoping that a great pie recipe will be manifested, then you’ve got your wish: click on my link below. 😉

But, I have to wonder if those things would have happened anyway. I do, however, believe that things happen for a reason. People come into your life for a specific purpose – although the reason isn’t exactly clear at that moment. It’s happening to me right now… so I’m keeping a keen eye on the situation to see why the Universe/God has brought this person into my life. Eydie 🙂

I’ll stick with hard work and praying God’s will be done. 🙂

I have often wondered if that’s possible, so let me know how you get on with that one. I too have been interested in the law of attraction for a while now. I think there’s been some essential part of the process missed out, just don’t know what it is. Having said that, I’ve actually had a lot of success in consciously manifesting things, and what I found was not being too specific seems to make it easier. Although I suppose it’s then easier to put it down to coincidence that way too. For instance, we have been staying in a friend’s house while she was on holiday, being technically homeless at the moment. I put the wish out there that I wanted to be out of here by the time she came back, without knowing how on earth that would happen, both of us being jobless and as I said, technically and temporarily without a home of our own. And what happened? Without applying or looking for a job, my partner’s been offered a really good job in another part of the country. When does it start? Monday. And we have to be out of my friend’s house this weekend. Perfect timing. Not quite what I had in mind (jobs and a house here where my friend lives was what I hoped for) but nevertheless I got exactly what I asked for…to be out and earning money by this weekend. So I think being less rigid in what I was desiring created the space for something I couldn’t have even imagined to appear. Cool! good luck with manifesting your desires. Be interesting to see how you get on. Cheers. Andrea

I do believe in the power of manifestation. I’ve never tried an exercise of doing it within 48 hours so maybe I can start with some small things but something that would still be a bit of a challenge.
I want to manifest some chiseled abs as well. This is my 3rd week straight of working out at least 5 to 6 days each week by going to a boot camp class at my gym so I hope to get some abs one way or another. Great post!

Well written. It’s funny but summed up everything without sounding silly. Thanks.

Or does that fall under “meddling with the free will of others”, which would probably produce some sort of karmic (if you believe in karma) backlash?

Will you post pictures if you end up with lady abs of steel?

Actually, the 48 hour thing for manifesting some new clients would work really well for me…I can start immediately, but 48 hours is a nice bit of prep time. If you get really good at manifesting, can you manifest a quicker manifesting time?

Hope you get your abs… and who knows, maybe some company that makes some ab-crunching device will contact you… would that qualify? Either way, good luck!
