Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the amp domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. Notice: Function amp_is_available was called incorrectly. `amp_is_available()` (or `amp_is_request()`, formerly `is_amp_endpoint()`) was called too early and so it will not work properly. WordPress is not currently doing any hook. Calling this function before the `wp` action means it will not have access to `WP_Query` and the queried object to determine if it is an AMP response, thus neither the `amp_skip_post()` filter nor the AMP enabled toggle will be considered. The function was called too early (before the plugins_loaded action) to determine the plugin source. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. A good tradition which is prematurely halted always needs a finale. Go out with a bang…

It’s just that I know how these things go, especially as you have some history of trying this already.

My brother did this a number of times. A lot of times actually. And then we just stopped noticing. It was….oh yeah…Michael’s doing his annual streak, now how about some more beans.

I don’t want this to happen to you. He hasn’t ever really recovered.

On the other hand, if the decos are truly fantastic, you might just get away with it.

Clothes are seriously overrated.

With as many trimmings as possible. If you have animals get them all riled up also to add to the din. Should there be any protests respond with, ‘Next year I may be at my lady friends instead of here, so I wanted ot make one last good memory!’. It’s called emotional blackmail, and families (or at least my mother) thrive on it.

@Sonja Rois All great suggestions. I’ll add them to the list.

I would totally do this. I mean, it’s tradition, right?!? A bell around your neck to draw attention (because you wouldn’t be drawing enough, as it is) may also be in order. But deffinately go with the santa hat and bow. If you decide to do it. I think you should do it! And sing Deck the Halls (at the top of your lungs) all the while.
