One thing I came up with and use all the time when on the phone and the person on the other end says “bear with me”. I always reply Do you want that to Black, Brown, Grizzly, Polar, Kuala or Teddy? Occasionally someone will go Awww and they then laugh after I explain it to them. The one reason I try to get a laugh is that they may be having a bad day and if you can get them to laugh is just makes the day a little better.
