As for the name thing, I can empathize a little. You have no idea how many people sing that Beatles tune to me. Guns N Roses had one, too, but it wasn’t nearly so complimentary. I even had to buy one once for an older lamp (think no grounding prong) that had the type where you screw it into the top of the lamp. I found one at Big Lots. All you have to do is make sure it’s the right style. They’ll all fit if they’re the same style as the one you’re replacing.
