I Grew A Mustache! (Back in 2009)

Back in November 2009, I participated in Mo’vember, which is a charity to raise awareness for men’s prostate cancer.

Basically, you grow a mustache, hit up your friends for money, and then shave it off December 1.

I had never grown one before, and let me tell you a few things.

  1. It came out red.
  2. I looked like John Holmes.

I also have one other thing in common with John Holmes. No, wait, I can't lie to you good people.

It looked really bad, and got to be so embarrassing that on day 24 my ex-wife and I walked into a super-trendy restaurant for dinner.  I was actually ashamed of how I looked.

There is a whole pile of wrong here.

Would you like to see the metamorphosis from no-mo to mo and then back to no-mo?  You goddamned better, because here it comes!

I also put the slideshow to music, namely Chris Burke (Life Goes On‘s Corky) singing Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da by The Beatles.  He nails it.
