DJ, as a veteran of online dating, let me ASSURE you that you were NOT rejected by a super-model. She is a super-model IN HER DREAMS. No real super-model actually goes to an online dating site. The number and degree of lies and exaggerations on most dating profiles would blow your mind.

Over time, you learn to filter things out. You learn certain buzz-words that are warnings to STAY AWAY.

I “met” 465 or so women over a several-year period after my divorce. The last became my wife and happily, still is. I think you dodged a bullet when she canceled…not trying to be mean, but any woman that would repeatedly call herself a supermodel likely has ‘issues.’

I agree with the comments above. She probably spent time trying to fit into the personality that she had created and realized there was no way she was going to be able to use same lighting that she used to make her pictures look great on the site, for your date so she declined. This wasn’t about you. Trust me :)

On to the post comment…bad, silly supermodel. Your laid-back sense of humor rocks. I even had to start a new circle on Google+ for you – “guybloggers”…because I don’t think you fit into my “mombloggers” circle. Used “guy” i/o “dude” because yes, I really am that old.

Also liking your blog search headline, although I don’t know that I will be using it a whole lot at the moment. We have 6 puppies, one dog and one cat in the apartment, until the pups are old enough for their forever homes….I’ve got enough crap already.

Kudos for being involved with Band Back Together. That site is very, very important.

Have you ever seen the movie “Catfish”? If not, you totally should. This sounds like it is straight out of that movie, but at the same time, I sincerely hope it isn’t… Then again, it did make an awesome story..
